Reclaiming the Room Hypnosis for Betrayal Trauma Recovery
Reach a place where someone stops taking up space in your head.
You have been the one still scanning, still checking for what has not yet been said, long after anyone else would have stopped looking. That vigilance made sense once, it was protecting you, but it has been exhausting to carry and it has cost you parts of the day that are actually yours.
This session, about 29 minutes long, guides you towards standing that watchful part down, just for now. It works with the idea of your mind as a building with limited rooms, one of them occupied without your permission. Rather than asking for forgiveness, it helps you withdraw the attention that keeps that room occupied, so it can be repurposed for the people and the life that actually belong there.
There is no requirement to forget what happened or to pretend trust has already returned. Acceptance is offered instead of investigation, so today's energy stops being spent on yesterday's facts. Many people notice that room feels a little quieter each time they return to it.
