Hypnosis for Alternatives to an Addiction
Build a different relationship with whatever you reach for when energy runs low, when feelings get loud, or when there's something worth celebrating.
You know exactly what it does for you, and that is precisely why it has been hard to put down. It has managed the tiredness and softened the moods you would rather not sit with. The cost keeps climbing.
This session works from a simple idea: an addiction is really a vehicle to a feeling, and vehicles can be swapped for ones that cost less. Settled in deep relaxation on an imagined beach in Mexico, resting in a hammock between the palms, you are guided back through a memory of handling tiredness well and a celebration that left no regret. From there, a difficult emotion is revisited, one that, faced rather than avoided, led somewhere better.
Adam Cox built this from work with a client managing a long standing addiction to a substance used to manage energy and to soften difficult emotions, with celebration folded in as well. It runs about 28 minutes, and it tends to leave you noticing choices you had not spotted before.
