Grief Hypnosis to Grieve The Passing of a Mother
Grieve the loss of your mother in a way that feels true to you, not a set right way to do it.
Maybe you feel guilty for not crying enough, or for the grief that surfaces without warning at odd moments. This session offers no script to follow, only permission to grieve in whatever way feels right for you.
You breathe into a calmer rhythm, breathing in resources like resilience and self acceptance as bright colours, then picture your mother as she was, healthy and smiling, sitting beside you in two brightly coloured deck chairs. Walking down a spiral staircase into deeper relaxation, you are supported in seeing grief as a form of love rather than something to manage or control, and in trusting your own way through it.
The session runs about 23 minutes and closes with room to say what needs to be said, and to say goodbye in your own time. Many people find themselves returning to those deck chairs long after it ends.
