Embracing the Minotaur of Self Acceptance
You stop running from the parts of yourself you have spent years avoiding.
That is the pull of this one: the fear or doubt that keeps circling back no matter how many times you have tried to outrun it, and the tiredness that comes from pretending it isn't there, from pushing down whatever it is you have never quite let yourself look at.
You walk into an old labyrinth on Crete, torch in hand, until you reach the minotaur waiting at its centre. Rather than fighting it or running, you are led to face it and speak to it, recognising it as a part of yourself asking to be understood rather than destroyed. As you accept it, the walls of the maze dissolve and the way out simply appears.
It runs about 22 minutes, and the person who walks out the other side tends to carry a little more calm into the day that follows.
