Avoiding The Venus Fly Trap of Smoking Relapse
This session works towards a version of you that no longer needs a cigarette to feel calm, in control, or rewarded.
You know the pull. Stressed, bored, or just out of habit, and suddenly smoking feels like the only answer, even though part of you resents it. That pull is what this session addresses directly, rather than asking you to white knuckle through it.
You are guided through two futures, one where smoking continues and one where it does not, so the contrast becomes real rather than theoretical. The central image is a Venus flytrap: the urge is the scent that promises something appealing, and the trap closes the moment you believe it. Once your mind sees urges this way, resisting stops feeling like willpower and starts feeling like common sense.
It runs about eighteen minutes, and people often notice the shift not in the moment, but the next time an urge arrives and simply feels less convincing.
