PTSD Hypnosis to Release Trauma and Feel Empowered
You can look back at what happened without your whole body reacting as if it's happening again.
One memory still ambushes you, replaying itself without invitation, carrying the same fear and helplessness it did at the time, even though you know you're safe now.
This session guides you into an imagined private cinema, complete with comfortable seating, where the memory plays out on a screen instead of inside you. An imaginary remote control lets you shrink the scene or slow it right down, until the emotional charge starts to drain away. From there you're guided to imagine cutting the cord between the memory and the feelings attached to it, then picture the scene resolving the way you'd have wanted it to. None of this erases what happened, but it can help you build a steadier relationship with what it still costs you.
It runs about 17 minutes, and many people find the memory feels quieter, more distant, the next time it surfaces.
