IBS Hypnosis to Trust Your Bowels and Bladder
Moving through a busy day without first mapping every toilet in the building is the point of this session.
The constant scanning and the quiet dread of being caught out can start to feel less like a habit of mind and more like a life sentence. Even when nothing goes wrong, the worry stays, and it starts to shape where you go and what you agree to.
You're guided to a calm park beside a lake, a drink in hand, while an imagined stranger tries to convince you that relaxing here is too risky. Their voice has an unconvincing whine to it, and it becomes strangely easy to disbelieve them, choosing instead to trust that your body already knows how to hold and release exactly when it needs to.
It runs about twenty two minutes, and the shift from fear to plain curiosity tends to stay with people well after they've opened their eyes.
