Hypnosis for Fear of Tunnels and Going Underground
Travelling through tunnels and underground stations can feel ordinary again.
That tightening in your chest before a train dips under, and the habit of checking where the nearest exit is, are the things this session works with directly, whether it's the Underground or a tunnel on the motorway.
You settle first on an imagined beach, then move into an imagined cinema with three screens. One holds you travelling confidently before this fear existed, and another holds the change you're working towards. The screen in the middle holds the memory that still feels raw, watched closely, then run backwards until it loses its charge.
At around 35 minutes, the aim isn't to argue you out of caution, it's to help you reconnect with a way of thinking about travel you already know how to use. Many people notice the difference the next time they're waiting on a platform, and that recognition tends to stay with them longer than reassurance ever did.
