Bird Park - Facing the Fear of Birds
Walk past pigeons and gulls without your chest tightening.
The route you plan just to dodge a bench full of seagulls, the flinch when a pigeon gets too close on a platform, that's the pattern this session works with.
You're guided into the mindset of the world's most enthusiastic bird twitcher, someone whose favourite species are the ones everyone else avoids. From there you visit a park built around ordinary birds like pigeons and gulls, feeding them from your hand and learning what people usually get wrong about them. The point is simple: fascination and fear cannot sit in the same place for long.
Afterwards, the same relaxation carries you back to ordinary streets, where a bird overhead barely registers and a gull near your table stops meaning anything at all. It runs about seventeen minutes, and it tends to change how the very next real bird feels, however ordinary the day.
